The six rules

• Be kind. No hate, insults, harassment or threats.
• Keep it clean. No sexual content or nudity.
• Travel only. No selling, ads, spam or scams.
• Say what’s true. No fake information.
• Respect privacy. No one’s phone number, address or location without their OK.
• Follow the law. No drugs, weapons or fake documents.

What happens when a rule is broken

Members report posts. After 3 reports a post is hidden until it is reviewed, by trusted local helpers or by the Otrip team, within 24 hours. A removed post is a strike; 3 strikes in 90 days pause posting and voting for 30 days. Threats and anything sexual involving a minor end the account at once.

Appeals

You can ask us to look again at a removal, once. We answer within 2 days.
